Full:  $1000

A.  Eligibility

  1. This category is open to anyone who wants to participate fully in the mission of the Center.

  2. Students enrolled in Center training programs, by virtue of their tuition payments, are Full members of the Center.

  3. First-year graduates of Center training programs will receive a 50% discount for Full membership for one year after graduation.

FULL APPLICATION

Basic Member:  $375

This level of membership is open to anyone.

BASIC APPLICATION

 

New Professional: $250

A.  Eligibility

  1. This category is open to people who have graduated within the previous three years from an academic mental health program at a graduate level (MSW PH.D., Psy.D., MD, MSN  etc.).   

  2. Membership in this category is limited to two years.

B.  Benefits

New Professionals have the same benefits as Basic Members:

  4. Eligibility for NIH Credit Union

  5. Inclusion in the Center’s Referral Service

  6. Other Center benefits as they become available.

NEW PROFESSIONAL APPLICATION

Corresponding Member:  $100

A. Eligibility

  1. This category is open only to members of other APsaA or IPA Institutes, and includes WCP voting members who relocate to a geographic distance of at least 100 miles.

  2. Corresponding members of local institutes/centers must be voting members of their “home” Institute/Center.


B. Benefits

Corresponding members have most of the privileges of Full members, with the following exceptions: they may not vote, hold office or serve as elected members of committees; and are not eligible for listing as program faculty for teaching and supervising.

The benefits are:

A. Eligibility
This category is open to any students in undergraduate or graduate programs.

  3. Participation in Study Groups at the discretion of the Study Group leader/coordinator

  4. Student rates for Center conferences

  5. Eligibility for NIH Credit Union

  6. Other Center benefits as they become available

STUDENT APPLICATION

Active Life:  $100

A. Eligibility

  1. Eligibility for this category is limited to those who are 75 or older, and who have been Full members in good standing for at least the preceding 10 years.

  2. Eligibility is not limited by number of hours worked.

B. Benefits

    Active Life Members have most of the benefits of Full Membership including complimentary PEPweb subscription.

ACTIVE LIFE APPLICATION

Life: Voluntary Dues

A. Eligibility
  1. Eligibility for this category is limited to those who are 75 or older, and who have been Full members in good standing for at least the preceding 10 years.

  2. Eligibility is not limited by number of hours worked.

B. Benefits

     Life Members have most of the benefits of Full Membership with the exception of PEPweb subscription.
 
C. Other
                                                                                                               
Members who turn 75 may elect to continue to pay dues; Life members are encouraged to make annual financial contributions to the Center.

 

Community Board Member: 
No Dues                                                   

A. Eligibility

This category is limited to individuals recruited from the community to be Board members (Directors) who are not currently Full members of the Center.

B.  Benefits

Community Board members have all the (relevant) privileges of Full members.

 
NOTE:
Dues that are paid for one category cannot be refunded in order to change categories during the fiscal/ membership year.  Category changes can only take place during the May – July billing period.
