Make a Difference

The Washington Center for Psychoanalysis is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. Contributions help sustain psychoanalytic education and training, professional and public programs, community outreach, and access to clinical services. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Ways to Give

  • Make an online donation.
  • Contribute by check and indicate whether the gift is in memory of someone, in honor of a living person, for a specific program, or for the Center’s general operations.
  • Consider planned giving or a gift of stocks or securities.

Why Support WCP?

Tuition, dues, and program fees do not fully cover the Center’s educational and operating costs. Charitable support helps WCP continue its clinical training, continuing education, public programs, multidisciplinary scholarship, and community service.

The Center’s work promotes thoughtful exploration of human experience and applies psychoanalytic ideas to psychotherapy, education, the arts, scholarship, and social concerns.

Donor Recognition

WCP recognizes contributors for their generosity. Giving levels include:

  • Benefactor: $1,000 and above
  • Donor: $500–$999
  • Sustaining Member: $250–$499
  • Contributing Member: $1–$249
