About the Center

Mission and organization

Washington Center for Psychoanalysis, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in the District of Columbia. Its stated mission is to advance psychoanalysis as a clinical approach, a mode of investigation and a way of understanding human experience.

The Center supports training, teaching, research, interdisciplinary study, outreach and the provision of affordable services.
