Who the Program Is For

The program is intended for clinicians who want to develop expertise in psychoanalytic couple and family therapy.

Continuing Education Option

A continuing-education-only option may be available to psychoanalysts, psychotherapists with postgraduate training, and seasoned clinicians seeking exposure to this therapeutic approach.

This option consists of the first-year seminar without supervision. It does not lead to a certificate of completion. Admission may be offered only when the faculty determines that the option is appropriate for the clinician.

Certificate Training

The full two-year training experience is identified as necessary for clinicians who wish to learn the modality in depth. It combines seminars, clinical observation, case discussion, and individual supervision.
