Planned Giving
A planned gift can extend your support for the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis beyond your lifetime while helping you pursue your personal, family, and financial goals.
Ways to Make a Planned Gift
- Bequest: Include a gift to the Center in your will or revocable living trust.
- Retirement-plan or financial-account designation: Name the Center as a beneficiary of all or part of an eligible account.
- Life-insurance gift: Designate the Center as a beneficiary of a policy.
- Gift of securities: Contribute eligible stocks or other appreciated assets.
Planning Your Gift
Planned gifts can take many forms, and their legal and tax consequences depend on individual circumstances. Consult your attorney, tax adviser, or financial adviser before completing a gift. The Center can provide organizational information your adviser may need, but it does not provide legal or tax advice.
If you have already included the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis in your plans, consider notifying the Center so it can acknowledge your generosity and understand your intentions.
