Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis

The Washington Center for Psychoanalysis commissioned an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to review human-research protocols and safeguard the rights, safety, and well-being of research participants.

  • The WCP IRB specializes in studies involving psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
  • The IRB is registered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has obtained a Federalwide Assurance (FWA).
  • Other psychoanalytic and psychodynamic organizations may use the WCP IRB’s services.
