Welcome to the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis

The Washington Center for Psychoanalysis is a nonprofit association based in Washington, DC. It provides clinical and non-clinical training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, explores applications of psychoanalytic thought in the arts and academia, and presents scientific meetings, conferences, and lectures.

Its professional community supports education, collegial exchange, psychotherapy, and the promotion of psychoanalysis through outreach projects.

Member Resource

Active Center members receive access to Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing, an online collection containing many psychoanalytic journals, selected books, and Freud’s collected works. The service supports literature searches by author, subject, and keyword.

Continuing Education

Medical Education
