Continuing Education

This activity was planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education’s Essential Areas and Policies through the joint sponsorship of the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis, Inc.

The American Psychoanalytic Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians and assumes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this activity. The association designates the activity for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Physicians should claim credit only in proportion to their participation. Disclosure information on record indicates that participating faculty members have no significant financial relationships to disclose.

The Washington Center for Psychoanalysis, Inc. is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. It maintains responsibility for the program and its content and offers up to 50 credit hours for this activity.

The center’s programs meet the continuing education criteria defined by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, the District of Columbia and Virginia Boards of Social Work, and the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. The program is designated for a maximum of 50 social-work continuing education credit hours.
