The Program Management Committee consists of two (or more) representatives from each of the Divisions:

The PMC meets monthly, on the third Wednesday of every month (excluding July and August). The purpose of the PMC is for each program or division to report on its activities in a collegial setting to the other programs, in order to identify activities which have common areas of interest, for example, or to request advice on programmatic issues, or to generally learn at a program level what is happening within the Center. The PMC is also the oversight for Centerwide activities. For example, this year, new ideas are being discussed about a Center-Wide Open House for recruitment purposes, and an annual Gala is in the early planning stages as part of a wider Development plan.

The Program Management Committee also has a specific relationship with the Board of Directors. The PMC Chair is the President-Elect of the Board. The PMC has the power to approve proposals for new programs, and present them to the Board for ratification. Alternatively, if an issue or idea comes in via the Board, the PMC is where it can be decided in which division or under what program that idea would come best to fruition. All members receive the minutes of PMC meeting via the member listserve, and should not hesitate to contact the Chair if they have any ideas or thoughts about the Center at program level which they would like to air.
